Celect is proud to announce the new functionality changes that have been made to our systems. We believe these changes will allow our clients to better utilize our tools while streamlining processes. We would also like to thank all of our clients who provided feedback and collaborated with our team to make sure your needs were being met.

    New Features:

    • The Announcment Bar will keep you up to date on news with our new functionality or maintenance needs.
    • The Feedback button in the Silver Menu Bar has also been replaced with a new Feedback Forum.
    • Users now have the ability to add the Celect feed to RSS from any news feed on their website, allowing them to receive updates from Celect via email.
    • We’ve also added new privacy settings to the profile pictures section that allow users to control who will see their photo depending on where they’ve posted within the site.

    Groups Tool:

    • We’ve launched a new and updated Groups interface that makes group coordination even easier.
    • A new section called Announcements allows Admins to keep group members updated, and we’ve revamped our Discussion Board to give members more discussion options.
    • Group coordinators can grant permissions for their group members to upload files, photos, message the group, and more!

    Photos Tool:

    • We’ve added new features to our Photos tool that make uploads quicker and easier. Now users can upload multiple images simultaneously and view their upload status so they know when it will be finished.
    • Users can also create sub-albums within existing photo albums, so they might be able to view a specific person’s photos of an event or emphasize smaller categories within a larger event.
    • Photos that are used for public pages can now go through an approval process with a site admin.

    Folders Tool & Media Blocks:

    • Now users can add Media Blocks to their site, which can be used to embed audio and video files onto any page and play those files directly from the page rather than from a File Block.
    • Users are also able to view their upload status when uploading a file or multiple files to their website.
    • Files that are used for public pages can now go through an approval process with a site admin.
